The Brownwood Lions will host the Abilene Wylie Bulldogs for Homecoming tonight at Gordon Wood Stadium, the 17th meeting between the two schools.  Game time is 7:30. The Lions are 2-2 while tonight is the first game of the season for Wylie. Due to the UIL guidelines involving COVID-19, the start of the Class 5A and 6A regular seasons was delayed to this week.  As always you can hear the Lions on KOXE 101.3 FM with Dallas Huston back behind the mic tonight along with Carl Wayne, Linda Huston and Michael Richardson.

In Early tonight, the Longhorns (2-2) play host to the Grape Creek Eagles (1-3) at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Early’s homecoming contest.  Grape Creek is coming off a 24-8 loss to Coleman last week and has also fallen to Stanton (8-0) and Class 2A Division II No. 15 Christoval (23-18). The lone win for the Eagles came against San Angelo TLCA (42-12).
