The following calls for service were responded to by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.

On December 28, at approximately 16:00 hours, Deputy Carlyle James Gover contacted a victim in reference to a violation of protective order.  After further investigation a report was taken for the violation.

On December 28, at approximately 19:46 hours, Deputy Carlyle James Gover arrived at South U.S. Highway 377.  This was in reference to an unknown suspect striking a fixed object.  After speaking to the property owner, photographs were taken of the and a report was made.

On December 28, Deputy Toby Mathis responded to a disturbance on County Road 347 where an elderly male tried to leave the house after a disagreement and other family members attempted to prevent him from leaving.  The grandson later claimed the elderly male threatened him during the disagreement and a report was made.
