In session Tuesday morning, January 19, Brown County Commissioners decided to leave the Burn Ban off in Brown County.  Even though some grass fires have happened in recent days, rain was falling Tuesday morning and remains in the forecast through the weekend.  Residents are urged to contact their nearest volunteer fire department to inform them of any planned burns.
