Daily Update:
On January 22, 2021, the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department received 40 positive COVID-19 test results, 81 negative, 59 recoveries, and 1 death. Of the 40 positives, 26 were PCR, and 14 were antigen.

There are currently 24 hospitalized in Brown County and 496 active cases.

The death reported was male in his 50’s, not a resident of a nursing facility.

COVID-19 Vaccinations:
Brown County currently shows 972 people vaccinated with 1st doses, 242 people vaccinated with both doses.  31,586 is the estimated for vaccination.

Weekly Case Count Update:
Brown County ended the week (1/22/2021) with an addition of 214 new cases from the previous week.

Upcoming Free Mobile COVID-19 Test Dates: 
Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) COVID-19 mobile testing team will continue January 25th-29th in Brownwood from 10 am to 4 pm at Gordon Wood Stadium located at 3206 Milam Drive.
