Sentences Given to Five in District Court

According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith, presiding.

Jerry Doyle Marney pled guilty to the felony offense of Unauthorized Use of Vehicle and was sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Joshua Stovall on probation for the felony offenses of Burglary of a Habitation and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver was revoked and sentenced to Seven (7) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Xavier Scott Martinez on probation for the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence was adjudicated and sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Fletcher Nathaniel Liggin pled guilty to the felony offense of Evading Arrest – Prior Conviction and was sentenced to Four (4) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

John Mark Moore pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  and was sentenced to Twelve (12) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
