The Brownwood Lady Lions softball team came from behind to defeat Gatesville 11-8 Tuesday evening in Gatesville. The Lady Lions are now 1-2 in district after garnering 20 hits off Gatesville. Pitching the entire night for Brownwood was Allgood.

Also playing out of town, the Brownwood Lions baseball team got back into the win column with a 4-3 victory over Glen Rose. The Lions are now 3-2 in district. Porter got the win for the Lions.

Out in Midland, the Brownwood Lady Lion soccer team saw its season come to an end with an 8-0 loss to San Elizario in the second round of the playoffs. Congratulations to Coach Alexis Mosqueda and the Lady Lions on an outstanding soccer season.
