The Brownwood Lady Lions took 2nd in District, the Lions 3rd, in the District 6-4A track meet held at Gordon Wood Stadium on Wednesday and Thursday.  The Lions earn a combined 32 berths in the Area Track Meet which will be held April 14 in Mineral Wells.

In the team standings, the Lady Lions finished in second place with 140 points – ahead of Glen Rose (102), Gatesville (81.33), and Lampasas (64.33) – while trailing district champion Stephenville (226.33).

The Lions placed third with 128 points, behind Stephenville (171) and Lampasas (166) while leading Gatesville (108) and Glen Rose (41).
