BOO BASH 21 in Brownwood October 30

boo-bash

Halloween is upon us and no stone will be left unturned or no broom will be left unflown for BOO BASH in historic downtown Brownwood on Saturday, October 30.  The event will also help out the nonprofits of Brown County.

BOO BASH will be the first event of its kind because there will be several nonprofits represented, be it in attendance, taking donations, or  running one of  several small activities throughout the event.  That money will be going directly to a non-profit, along with the Texas JC’s and Texas  state JC’s President Charity Adams will be collecting money all throughout the event for scholarships to be awarded to two Brown County football athletes to go to the college of their choice.  The scholarships will be in the memory of local football legend Leslie Adams.

BOO BASH  will also be introducing Brownwood’s newest nonprofit, NAMI Texas of Greater Brownwood, dedicated to improving the quality of life of all individuals living with mental illness and their families. For more information, contact Elisabeth Barber at namitexasofgreaterbrownwood@gmail.com regarding the newest nonprofit; or Charity Adams about donating towards the scholarships

BOO BASH and Margaret Carter will also be doing a canned food drive to benefit  Feed the Need for Thanksgiving.

Here is a list of the items they will need….

Canned pumpkin

Canned cranberry sauce

Canned green beans
