Vicenta Guzman Bazaldua, 86, of Brady, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, in Brady. She was born in Mexico to Valeriano Guzman and Cristina Ramirez on January 22, 1937. She married Israel Bazaldua Muniz on August 25, 1955.

Vicenta is preceded in death by her parents, husband, R. Juan Angel Bazaldua Guzman, Israel Bazaldua Muniz, Ernestina Abundiz, Chalio Vargas, Eloida Guzman.

Vicenta is survived by three sons, Artermio Bazaldua Guzman of Edinburg, Texas, Marcos A. Bazaldua Guzman and wife Yolanda of Canyon Lake, Texas, Luis G. Bazaldua Guzman and wife Paula of Brady, three daughters, Beatriz E. Bazaldua Guzman of Monterrey, NL, P. Elizabeth Bazaldua of Austin, Maribel Bazaldua de Flores and husband Jose of Austin, brother, Miguel Guzman Ramirez of Monterrey, NL, two sisters, Berta Molina of Monterrey, NL, San Juanita Alvarado of Monterrey, NL, and numerous grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 AM Friday, June 2, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 2, 2023, at Greenwood Cemetery in Austin.

Pallbearers will be Santiago Arias, Martin Bazaldua, Jose Flores, Luis Bazaldua, Marcos Bazaldua, and Miguel Sanchez.
