Kathy Forisha, age 76, of Early, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 in Brownwood. A visitation for Kathy will be held from 5:00 – 7:00PM on Thursday, June 11, at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Funeral services for Kathy will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, June 12, at Saint Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.

Kathy was born on October 2, 1949 in Brooklyn New York. Kathy married the love of her life, Garry Forisha, on December 18, 1971, embarking on a wonderful journey together. They welcomed three wonderful children into their lives, Brian, Craig, and Lisa. Kathy cherished her role as a stay-at-home mom, dedicating her time and love to her family.

A devoted member of St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Kathy built a strong community around her faith. She had a true passion for reading, decorating her home, and enjoyed going on tropical vacations. She also proudly cheered for the Texas Longhorns and was one of their biggest fans. Above all, Kathy loved to be “Mimi,” showering her grandchildren with affection and making lasting memories.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Garry; her sons, Brian Forisha, and Craig and Francine; her daughter, Lisa Forisha; her grandchildren, Caden, Michael, Trevor, Lilly, Zoee, Paisley, and Madilyn.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Catherine Oniell.
