Brown County Grand Jury Returns 13 Indictments Against Nine Individuals in June 2026

District Attorney Micheal Murray says: during the June, 2026, session of the Brown County Grand Jury, Thirteen (13) True Bills were returned against Nine (9) persons.

TRUE BILLS:

  • Jace Cameron Lunceford: Deadly Conduct – Discharged Firearm
  • Kristi Ann Hicks: Possession of a Controlled Substance PGI
  • Elijah Ray Jones: Burglary of Habitation – Repeat/Habitual Offender
  • Cory Drew Price: Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver – Repeat Offender
  • Cory Drew Price: Felon in Possession of a Firearm – Repeat Offender
  • Michael Castanuela: Assault Against Pregnant Woman
  • Grady Steven Sanderson: CT. 1: Continuance Sexual Abuse of Young Child or Children – CT. 11 – 111: Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child – CT. IV-v: Indecency With a Child – Contact
  • Victor Alfonso Romero: CT. 1-111: Aggravated Assault With Deadly Weapon

The District Attorney’s Office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk and a file marked copy of the Grand Jury Report has been returned.

The District Attorney’s Office does not release names of Defendants who have been indicted by a Grand Jury but not yet anested because of an indictment being sealed until the time of arrest. In addition, names of individuals who have had no formal charges filed against them and who are no-billed by a Grand Jury will not be released by the District Attorney’s Office at this time.
