Though Amy’s earthly journey was often marked by trials and hardships, her faith in Jesus Christ remained the anchor of her life. She found hope, grace, and unconditional love in her Savior, and today she rests in perfect peace, free from every burden, safely in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. While her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her, they rejoice in the promise that she has been made whole and welcomed into the presence of her Savior.
Amy’s greatest treasure was her relationship with Jesus Christ. She loved worshiping the Lord, attending Christian concerts, spending time in Bible study, and encouraging others in their faith.
She found strength and fellowship through her church families at Awaken Church, The Ecclesia Uprising Church, and High Mesa Cowboy Church, all of which played an integral role in her walk with Christ. The ladies of her Bible study at Awaken Church held a very special place in her heart, and their friendship was a source of comfort and encouragement. Amy was also a faithful prayer warrior, faithfully lifting up friends, family, and even strangers in need before the Lord.
Her compassionate heart and steadfast faith touched countless lives through the power of prayer.
She had a deep appreciation for God’s creation and found joy in beautiful sunsets, animals, and the peacefulness of nature. Amy loved deeply and wholeheartedly. She cherished her mother and loved her brothers fiercely. Nothing brought greater joy to her heart than her beloved son, Christian, whom she loved beyond measure. One of Amy’s most unforgettable gifts was her beautiful smile. It was genuine, warm, and infectious, brightening every room she entered and bringing comfort and joy to those around her.
Amy is survived by her loving son, Christian Crouch of Brownwood, Texas; her devoted mother, Renee Allison of Zephyr, Texas; her brothers, Buddy Allison of Bryan, Texas, Jeremy Allison of Early, Texas, Jordan Merkle and fiancée Gabby Hernandez of Brownwood, Texas, and Seth Merkle of Brownwood, Texas. She is also survived by her nephew, Christopher Allison.
She is further survived by her grandfather, Billy Sharp of Bryan, Texas; her aunt, Nicole Sharp of College Station, Texas; her uncle, Billy Sharp and wife Tracy, along with their children, Noah and Sarah Sharp; her aunt, Rhonda Sharp and her son, Skyler Wade of College Station, Texas; her cousins, Chasity Allison, Chelsea Allison, and Trey Allison, all of Brownwood, Texas; cousin Harold Hayden of Tyler, Texas; aunt Tamza DeCharles of Tyler, Texas; along with many other extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by Amy’s kindness and taith.
Amy was preceded in death by her father, Buddy Allison, Sr.; her maternal grandmother, Iris Sharp; and her paternal grandparents, Leo and Oma Allison.

Although words cannot fully capture the life Amy lived or the love she shared, those who knew her will remember her tender heart, resilient spirit, forgiving heart, genuine compassion, her infectious smile, and her steadfast love for Jesus. She possessed a compassionate heart and desired to serve and care for others throughout her life. Her life stands as a reminder that God’s grace is sufficient, His mercy is unfailing, and His promises are eternal.
As her family grieves her absence, they find comfort in the assurance that because of her faith in Christ, this is not goodbye but only a temporary separation. One glorious day, they will be reunited where there will be no more tears, pain, sorrow, or death, but only everlasting joy in the presence of the Lord.
