A Go Fund Me page has been started for former constable Bob Beadel and his wife Ann, whose home was lost to fire Monday afternoon. The home, located in the 8800 block of FM 45 South burned when a fire began in an RV shed adjacent to the home. The Beadel’s were able to evacuate safely and remove two vehicles and their pets from the home, which they have lived in since 1970. The Brownwood, Early, Zephyr Lake Bridge, Winchell and Dam Fire Departments responded to the scene. The Citizens Emergency Response Team and Red Cross were also on scene. Information regarding cause of the fire has yet to be released.
