Brae is the new guy around here, starting in January of 2024 as an On-Air personality from 9 to 2.  Last December, he graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Digital Broadcasting degree.  While at West Texas A&M, Brae also worked as the General Manager for the college radio station “The One” 91.1 FM, and also hosted his own radio program titled “Saturday Morning Cartoons,” which won best special show in the spring of 2023.  Brae also is a sports broadcaster, interning in Palm Springs California for the Palm Springs Power baseball team in the summer of 2023.

When Brae doesn’t have a mic in front of him or some headphones on, he loves to spend time with his wife Ashley, his 1 year old son Rhett, his dog Trooper and two cats, Tink and Fred.  He also loves playing video games with his brother and friends, watching his Texas Rangers win and his Dallas Cowboys attempt to win 😭, and if he can find one, going to a good Texas card room to play some poker.

Q: What would you tell your younger self if you could?

A: Hug your family and friends whenever you get the opportunity, because they won’t be here forever.

Q: What’s your favorite meal?

A: Medium-Rare steak.  I don’t need my cow to be mooing when it comes to the table, but pink is a better color than grey when it comes to meat for me.

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: I have to choose? Well if I have to, Inception by Christopher Nolan is my favorite movie as an adult, but I can’t deny Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back  as my actual favorite movie of all time.

Q: What would you wish your children learn from you the most?

A: Do what you are passionate about in your life.  Money is nice and can be comforting, but nothing beats being able to contribute to something and being happy while doing it.  Also your mom is always right!
