The Brownwood ISD Board of Trustees will meet in executive session this evening and will immediately convene into executive session to discuss the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment duties discipline or dismissal of employees or officials. At the conclusion of the executive session, the board will return to open session to discuss possible action on executive session items. It is being assumed the board will discuss a plan for replacing Chuck Howard, who announced his retirement last week. Howard coached in 91 games during his time in Brownwood and was promoted to head football coach and athletic director in 2013. The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the district’s central office, located at 2707 Southside Dr.
