During this morning’s meeting of the Brown County Commissioners, the court unanimously voted to enact a burn ban. The commissioners agreed that due to dry conditions and a few fires that have occurred over the course of the last week, the safety of the public needed to be the determining factor.

Once fire conditions lessen, the court can vote to dissolve of the burn ban.
