The Brown County Commissioners faced a light agenda when they met this morning. The court approved employee changes within the sheriff’s department, received a report from Tax Assessor/Collector Christine Pentecost regarding education credits in compliance with the Texas Property Tax Code and took no action regarding the burn ban, which means the burn ban is still in effect in Brown County. This week, the court will begin budget hearings.
