Bonnie Ruth Maynard

Bonnie Ruth Hogan was born March 31, 1934, in Gorman to Clyde Lee and Geneva Alice (Jones) Hogan. After attending and graduating from Rising Star High School, she married Melvin R. Maynard at Rising Star June 28, 1951. They lived in Odessa approximately 25 years and began working in a printing business. They moved to Amarillo where they owned and operated Precision Graphics of Amarillo. In 1999, they retired and moved to Comanche County. While living in Comanche County, she was the Chairperson of Comanche County Republican Party from about 2002-15 and was employed by the Hargraves Insurance Co. of Cisco from 2004-10.

Bonnie Maynard is survived by sons, Wesley Maynard and wife Janis of Pflugerville and Royce Maynard and wife Debbie of Richmond; grandchildren, Kenneth Maynard and wife Amanda, Stefanie Gray and husband Michael, and Brianna Maynard; great-grandchildren, Rebekah Gray, Shawn Maynard, Gavin Maynard, Trendon Maynard and Ava Maynard; and brothers, Don “Bill” Hogan and Roy Hogan.

She was preceded in death by husband of 49 years, Melvin Maynard; parents, Clyde and Geneva Hogan; and brothers, Wayne, James Lee, Mike, and Norman Gale Hogan.
