Local man sentenced to 120 years in prison

A local man has been sentenced to 120 years in prison. Enrique Salazar AKA Henry Adam Salazar pled no contest to the felony offense of failure to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to 60 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Salazar also pled no contest to three separate felony offenses continuous violence against the family was sentenced to an additional 60 years. The case was heard in Brown/Mills County Court with Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Other cases saw Ivan Garay Lopez plead guilty to the felony offense of delivery of a controlled substance-drug free zone. Lopez was sentenced to seven years. Larry Wayne Durham Jr. pled guilty to the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to four years.
