The county commissioners will hear two requests from Sheriff Vance Hill when they meet Tuesday. The court will meet tomorrow morning due to today’s holiday. Hill will be asking the court to consider allowing him to purchase specialized investigative equipment and for allowance to submit an application and operations plan to the state of Texas for utilization for excess Department of Defense.

The court will also hear from a representative from Victory Life Church regarding the installation of school zone sign. The court will also consider and possibly approve new board members for the child welfare board and consider any action regarding the burn ban. There is currently no burn ban in the county.
