When the Brownwood City Council meets Tuesday, they will discuss wild hogs. The council will consider approving city manager Emily Crawford to sign a contract allowing Joe Reeves to trap wild hogs and remove them from the pecan field station on C.C. Woodson. In other the business, the council will:
• Receive a presentation from Keep Brownwood Beautiful of a plan of work for 2017.
• Consider authorizing the purchase of a water heater for the senior citizens center from cash reserves with a budgeted amount to be presented at year end.
• Consider allowing Mayor Stephen Haynes to sign a one-year lease agreement with Heritage Helicopter Services LLC for lease space at the Burkett Hangar, located at the Brownwood Municipal Airport.
• Consider ratification of a mayoral appointment to the transportation museum advisory board.
• Receive the investment report
• Receive a report from Crawford regarding the search for a new fire chief/emergency management coordinator
