District Attorney Micheal Murray has reported that during the March session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 33 true bills were returned against 29 individuals. Two of those indicted were Blake Ryan Whitehead, 29 and Adrean Ray Alfaro, 18. Whitehead was arrested on warrants related to the sex crimes back in January. He was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child. Reports state that two victims of the alleged crime were under the age of 16. Alfaro was also charged with a sex crime offense back in January. The indictment lists the crime as sexual assault of a child. The district attorney’s office does not release names of new indictments until after the grand jury proceedings have been processed through the district clerk. The district attorney’s office does not release names of defendants who have been indicted by a grand jury but not yet arrested because of an indictment being sealed until the time of arrest.
