The ARK to host charity softball tournament

The ARK Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Shelter will be hosting a “Knock Domestic Violence Out of the Park” softball tournament June 17 at 8 a.m. at the Bert V. Massey II Sports Complex. Registration is open now through June 13, with a limited number of spots available. The tournament will be co-ed, and players ages 16 and up are welcome to participate. The cost is $200 per team.

All proceeds will go towards the ARK Domestic Violence Shelter. Prizes will be awarded including the winning team receiving 12 full custom jerseys and the runner up receiving 12 T-shirts. The winner of the homerun derby will receive a bat. Each team will need to pay $10 for umpire fees with the winning team having that fee refunded.
