District Attorney Micheal Murray reported that felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court with Judge Stephen Ellis presiding. Those sentenced were:
• LeSheba Shedonna Convington pled not guilty to the felony offense of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and after testimony presented by the state and defense, the court found Covington guilty of the offense and sentenced her to 25 years.
• Dennis Dwayne Bradley pled guilty to the felony offense of burglary of a habitation and was sentenced to eight years. Further, Bradley pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of theft-enhanced and was sentenced to two years.
• Joshua Lee Maldonado pled guilty to the felony offense of forgery and was sentenced to five years.
• Travis Wayne Gossett on probation for the felony offense of delivery of a controlled substance, drug-free zone and was sentenced to four years.
• Aaron David Keel pled guilty to the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance, drug-free zone and was sentenced to three years.
