Early Police Officers responded to an apartment in the 1000 block of Early Blvd. in reference to a family violence incident. Officers made contact with a female victim who stated her boyfriend, Jesus Ariel Hernandez Jr. had slammed her head on the floor and drug her around by the hair and strangled her by the neck. Officers said the victim was bleeding from places on her arms and legs and showed signs of having been strangled. Hernandez was not at the scene when officers arrived, but was later located on CR 234. Hernandez told officers he remembered striking the victim and slamming her head into the flood, but did not remember anything else. Hernandez was arrested for assault family violence-impeding breathing, a third-degree felony. Hernandez was released on a $15,000 bond.
In other incidents:
• Officer Contreras stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of Early Blvd for a traffic violation. Contreras observed an open beer can in the console and according to the report, the driver, Toby Lynn Bueno was acting extremely nervous. After further investigation, Contreras located a bag containing marijuana along with drug paraphernalia. Bueno was placed under arrest and taken to the Brown County Jail.
• Officers responded to a three-vehicle accident in the 200 block of Early Blvd. after the driver of one vehicle struck another in the rear, causing a chain reaction. Multiple injuries were reported.
