Early Thursday morning, a Brownwood Police Department Officer was on patrol in the 100 block of W. Lee St. when he observed paint on the back wall of a business and two city trash dumpsters. A report was generated and the incident is still under investigation. In other incidents:

• An officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of Magnolia at about 3:30 a.m. Thursday in regards to a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with all involved parties and an arrest was made.
• An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Indian Creek R. for failing to stop at a designated point. The vehicle fled the scene. A report was generated.
• Officers arrested Jason Edwards at 907 Main St. for a parole warrant. Edwards was also found to be in possession of less than one gram of a controlled substance.
• An officer was dispatched to the 2500 block of Greenway Dr. in reference to a mischief call. Information was obtained and a report was generated. An investigation is ongoing.
