Brownwood Police Department officers have been busy that last several days. The following is a list of calls:
- Responded to the 1200 block of Irma in regards to an assault. The case is still active.
- Responded to the 2500 block of Ave E in reference to a male trying to gain entry into a residence. The male remains unidentified.
- A traffic stop was made in the 2900 block of Southside Dr. After a short investigation, Christopher Fell was arrested for driving with an invalid license.
- Responded to the 800 block of Hendricks in reference to disorderly conduct. A report was completed for assault by threat-family violence.
- Responded to the 2600 block of Vincent St. in regards to criminal mischief. The case is still active.
- Responded to the 400 block of E. Commerce in reference to an individual asleep in the drive-thru of a business. After investigation, Jeffrey Scott Taylor was arrested for DWI, a Class B misdemeanor.
- Responded to Wal-Mart in reference to trespassing. During this call, a female identified as Elizabeth Roper was arrested for the offense of criminal trespass. Roper was transported to the Brown County Jail without incident.
- Amber Snider was arrested in the 2400 block of Belmeade for possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram.
- Responded to the 1600 block of Good Shepherd in reference to criminal mischief in progress. Stacy Renee Hair was arrested for criminal mischief >=$750<$2,500.
- Responded to 1500 Terrace Dr. in reference to a domestic disturbance. During this call, it was found that a male and female had been involved in a verbal altercation and that the male grabbed the female. Scott Coker was arrested for assault threat or offensive touch-family member and was transported to the Brown County Jail without incident.
- Officers responded to Goodwin St. in reference to a dog attacking goats and sheep.
