A Dublin man was killed Friday afternoon in a one vehicle crash in Brown County. The accident occurred on FM 1689, about 1 ½ miles East of May. The driver, William Marvin Moncrief, 53, was traveling west of FM 1689 in the rain. His 2005 Peterbilt truck went off the north side of the roadway.

It then struck a cement culvert where the driver overcorrected on the wet roadway. Moncrief’s vehicle rolled over and he was ejected. The crash is still under investigation.
