Local woman sentenced to six years for burglary

District Attorney Micheal Murray reported that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court with Judge Stephen Ellis presiding. Those sentenced were:

  • Jacky Wayne Carter pled guilty to the felony offenses of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and was sentenced to six years.
  • Belinda Maria Garcia, on probation for the two separate felony offenses of burglary of a habitation was revoked and sentenced to six years.
  • Julian Garcia Lopez Jr., on probation for the felony offense of driving while intoxicated was revoked and sentenced to five years.
  • Juan Jose Garcia, on probation on probation for the felony offense of evading arrest was adjudicated and sentenced to three years.
  • Jerod Levi Stembridge, on probation for the offense of delivery of a controlled substance-drug free zone was adjudicated and sentenced to four years.
  • Jon Devin Canon, on probation for the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance-drug free zone was adjudicated and sentenced to three years.
  • Skylour Admire, on probation for the state jail felony offense of burglary of a building, was revoked and sentenced to 18 months.
  • Joe Waylon Bush pled guilty to the state jail felony offenses of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 16 months.
  • Candice Payge Burkhalter, on probation for the state jail felony offense of possession of a controlled substance was adjudicated and sentenced to 15 months.
  • Collin Garrett Duett, on probation for the state jail felony offense of possession of a controlled substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to 15 months.
