The Early ISD Board of Trustees will host a town hall meeting format when they meet at 6 p.m. today. The town hall portion of the meeting will allow the public to address concerns regarding the “Guardian” program proposal, which would have certain staff members being armed during school hours. In other business, the board will discuss budget issues for the next school year; discuss administrator vacancies and convene into executive session to discuss the hiring of an elementary school teacher, elementary and high school nurse, middle school teacher, self-contained teacher and elementary site coordinator for the ACE program. The meeting will be at the administration building, located at 101 Turtle Creek.
