A Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the intersection and Avenue A and Vincent in reference to an accident. The caller stated the driver was seen walking near the 1000 block of Brady Ave. The driver, identified as David Stokes was interviewed, which led to a DWI investigation. Stokes was arrested for DWI and transported to BRMC for a blood draw and later booked into the Brown County Jail.

• Responded to the 1700 block of Melwood regarding a theft
• Responded to a theft in the 700 block of Ave J
• A forgery report was taken in the 1400 block of Austin
• Responded to a hit and run call on Market Place Blvd
• Responded to the 1200 block of Campa in reference to a domestic disturbance
• Responded to the 1600 block of Ave B regarding a juvenile problem call. The juvenile was arrested.
• Responded to the 2000 block of Slayden St in reference to a stolen cell phone. Multiple suspects were identified and questioned. The investigation is ongoing.
