Officers with the Brownwood Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of Carnegie early Wednesday afternoon in reference to a domestic disturbance. After an investigation, Kevin Ryan Cantu, 24, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the Bert Massey Sports Complex in reference to a burglary. Officers discovered that a vehicle had been damaged and a burglary had been committed. An active criminal report was generated.

Officers on Wednesday also responded to an area on Asbury Ct. regarding a theft. A complainant stated a firearm and money had been stolen from the residence while he was away. An investigation has begun.
