A deputy with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department responded to Brownwood Regional Medical Center in reference to an assault. A female claimed she was assaulted by a male from near the city limits of Gatesville to the Mills/Brown County line. A report was generated.

A deputy met with a state employee who stated another employee had stolen several items from the Texas Military Department. The stolen items were located at two separate local pawn shops. A report was generated for theft of more than $750, less than $2,500.

In other incidents:
• A deputy was dispatched to Belfast Dr. in reference to a theft. The complainant stated someone stole his wallet while visiting the home.
• A deputy was dispatched to the Brown County Jail regarding an assault between two female inmates. The jail staff said no obvious injuries were notice nor was medical attention required. The deputy spoke with both inmates and witnesses. A report was generated.
