Officers with the Brownwood Police Department, along with the Brown County Adult Probation Office conducted a probation search Wednesday at home in the 2300 block of Vine St. Contraband was discovered and Javan Wilson, 21, was placed under arrest for the possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance not in a penalty group and possession of marijuana.

In other incidents:

• Acey Sliger was arrested for theft of property with two previous convictions
• Sandy Crouch was arrested for driving while intoxicated
• Theft in the 400 block of W. Commerce
• Disorderly conduct in the 300 block of W. Commerce
