The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will host a welcome reception for new Brownwood 3M Plant Manager Russ Bryan on Thursday, September 14th at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce offices located at 600 E. Depot Street in Brownwood.

The come-and-go reception will be held from 4-6 PM. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Russ Bryan began his 3M career in St. Paul after earning BS degrees in Biology & Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Russ has held a variety of positions in multiple divisions and Business Groups over his 24 year career including the following: Technical Aide from TSSD lab in St. Paul, numerous positions within the Brownwood plant including: Plant Chemist, Process & Product engineering, Supervisor, and General Supervisory positions, FSE (foreign services employee) Product Manager in Xin Qiao China, in Knoxville, IA: Black Belt & Product Manager, and most recently Plant Manager in Little Rock, AR.

Russ’ extensive manufacturing experiences across several businesses have well prepared him for this role.

Russ and his wife Kendra have a daughter Kylie who is a sophomore at South Dakota State University majoring in Occupational Therapy, and a son Kaden who is a 5th grader. His wife Kendra has begun working in her original first dentist office after graduation as a dental hygienist at Dr. Goodwin’s as well.
