A Brownwood Police Officer responded to the 1500 block of 3rd St. in reference to a domestic disturbance. After an investigation, Tommy Cramer was arrested for assault with injury-family violence, strangulation. Cramer was transported to the Brown County Jail without incident.

In other incidents:

• Reynaldo Tobias was arrested for driving while intoxicated, second offense.
• An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Vincent St. in reference to the burglary of a vehicle. Upon arrival, the officer met with a woman who stated she believed her purse was stolen from a vehicle in front of the house.
