Early this morning, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood address in reference to disorderly conduct. During this call, Ashley Diaz was arrested for assault threat or offensive touch-family violence. She was transported to the Brown County Jail.

In another incident, an officer was dispatched to the law enforcement center regarding a theft. A victim claimed that her money order had been stolen, forged and then passed at a local business. An active report has been generated.
