Earlier this week, a Brownwood Police Officer conducted a traffic stop when it was noticed that a vehicle was not displaying a registration sticker. The stop ended with the arrest of Stevie Lee Rose for driving with an invalid license and four outstanding local warrants. Hunter Lane Shields, a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested for failure to identify as a fugitive and also had an outstanding Brown County warrant.

In other incidents:
• An officer responded to a burglary in the 1800 block of Main Blvd.

• Property theft in the 400 block of W. Commerce

• A juvenile was arrested in the 1300 block of 13th St. for possession of marijuana, less than two ounces in a drug free zone

• Assault in the 1500 block of 7th St.
