New computers needed for sheriff’s office

The Brown County Commissioners held a short meeting this morning. Due to Sheriff Vance Hill being ill, the court skipped one item regarding body armor, but did receive a report from County IT Manager Matt Krischke, who said 11 new computers were needed for the sheriff’s department. Four desktops and 11 desktops will rectify the problems currently being faced. He reported that the equipment currently being used is obsolete and new equipment will need to be purchased sooner than later.

In other business, the court took no action regarding a burn ban, which means there is still no burn ban in Brown County.
