Texas Comptroller Glen Hegar has released monthly sales tax allocations to Texas cities. This month, Bangs received a payment of $10,374, a slight decrease over this same time period last year of $10,427. Year to date, Bangs has received $72,898, a 2.93% increase over last year of $70,820.
Blanket received a monthly payment of $1,660, an increase over last year’s payment during this same time of $1,614. Year to date, Blanket continues to climb, receiving $13,205, a 15.32% increase from last year of $11,450.
Brownwood continues to rebound from last year. This month, they received a payment of $448,30, compared to last year’s payment during this same period of $385,340, a 16.27% increase. Year to date, Brownwood has received $2,723,221, a 10.97% increase over last year’s allocations of $2,453,859.
The City of Early received a monthly payment of $91,788, a 25.57% increase over this same period last year of $73,047. Year to date is a bit of a different story. Early has received $527,483, a 6.44% decrease over last year’s allocations of $563,818.
June payments are a reflection of April sales for businesses who report monthly.
