Several sentenced to prison in district court proceedings

District Attorney Micheal Murray said several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court with Judge Stephen Ellis presiding. Those sentenced were:

• Kristi Deanna Lattig pled guilty to the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 15 years.

• Elijah Ray Jones pled to the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and was sentenced to five years. Further, Jones pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and was sentenced to 12 months.

• Shawn Lee Brantley pled guilty to the felony offense of unauthorized use of a vehicle and was sentenced to five years.

• Paul Allen Boykin Jr. pled guilty to the felony offense of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and was sentenced to three years.

• James Monroe Crosson pled guilty to the felony offenses of possession of a controlled substance and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and was sentenced to two years.

• Andrew Leo Byer pled guilty to the felony offense of prohibited substance in a correctional facility and was sentenced to two years.
