Suspect wanted in Early also being sought in other counties

The Early Police Department is currently looking for 28-year-old Justin Doyle Pierce for the offense of burglary of habitation. Pierce has been identified as the suspect in breaking into a home in the 100 block of East River Oaks on August 19. The homeowner called 911 when he arrived home to find Pierce coming out of his house. The homeowner later learned a handgun had been stolen from his residence. A warrant for Justin Pierce was obtained for burglary of habitation after he was identified through the follow-up investigation.

Pierce is also wanted in several other counties including Comanche, Lampasas and Johnson as well as the Texas Parole Board. Pierce was last seen in a gray Taurus, but that vehicle was abandoned during a chase with Sanger PD earlier this week. Pierce was able to avoid capture at that time.
