Funeral services for Etta Marie Hart Powell, 75, of Brownwood, will be September 7 at 10 a.m. in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Greenleaf Cemetery. Visitation will be September 6 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Mrs. Powell passed September 2, 2018.

Etta Marie Carroll was born to Muriel Carroll. She was a  homemaker and volunteered at the soup kitchen. She attended New Beginnings Church. Marie married Jeff Powell in 2008.

Marie is survived by her husband, Jeff; stepchildren, Margie McMillian, Charles Hart as well as grandchildren and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Hart, and stepchildren Harvey and Larry Hart.
