Four sentenced in district court

District Attorney Micheal Murray reported that four felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court with Judge Stephen Ellis presiding:

• Christy Rains pled guilty to four separate felony offenses of forgery and was sentenced to seven years.
• Ashley Mathis pled guilty to the felony offense of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and was sentenced to six years. Mathis also pled guilty to the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to an additional 12 months.
• Dakota Woolsey pled guilty to the felony offense of assault family violence-occlusion-prior convictions and was sentenced to five years.
• Dustin Aaron Hubbard pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and burglary of a building and was sentenced to 14 months in each case.
