Brownwood City Hall and other non-emergency city facilities will close for New Year’s Tuesday January 1. Facilities will resume normal business hours after on Wednesday Jan. 2. The Solid Waste Collections department will have the following schedule changes for residential curbside trash: Tuesday Jan. 1 trash routes will be collected on Wednesday, Jan. 2. Have your carts out by 7 a.m. to insure collection. Call 325-643-4200 with questions. Emergency services are available for water line breaks and sewer backups 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 325-646-6000.

The City of Early will also be closed on January 1. Residential trash collection for that day will be picked up January 2nd.
