The following are calls responded to by the Brownwood Police Department between January 16 and January 21:
• Criminal mischief in the 200 block of E. Commerce
• Assault at a south Brownwood business
• Officers responded to a south Brownwood address in reference to a domestic disturbance. During the investigation, marijuana was located in plain view and it was determined an offense of interference with an emergency phone call had been committed.
• Theft in progress in the 400 block of W. Commerce. The subject surrendered the stolen merchandise and was cited for theft.
• Responded to the 2800 block of Southside Dr. regarding a juvenile who was out of control and destroying property. The male was located and taken to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for treatment.
• Theft in the 600 block of Ave. C
• Physical domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Terrace Dr.
• A subject was allegedly attacked by a neighbor’s pit bull in the 500 block of Mulberry St.
• Officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of Hwy 377 S. in reference to an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon between three juvenile victims and five known suspects. There were no reported injuries. A report for aggravated assault and engaging in criminal activity was generated.
• Assault in the 100 block of Carnegie St.
• Domestic disturbance in the 800 block of 6th St. A male was arrested for assault-family violence and assault on a public servant.
• Firearm located in the 500 block of Oak Trail.
• Burglary of a habitation at a south Brownwood address.
• An officer attempted to serve a directive to apprehend. The suspect took off after knowing he was under arrest and is being charged with evading arrest/detention with a vehicle.
• Criminal mischief in the 2600 block of Vine St.
• An officer was dispatched to the BRMC Emergency Room in reference to a dog bite.
• Officers responded to the 800 block of Bailey St. for an assault. After an investigation, a male was arrested for assault, family violence, impeding breathing/circulation and tampering with physical evidence.
