Woman leads Brownwood, Early police on chase

Earlier this week, Corporal Michelle Sheedy was traveling to work on Belle Plain in her marked patrol car when a 2004 Chevy Tahoe sped past her at a high rate of speed. Sheedy activated her emergency lights and siren in an attempt to stop the vehicle due to its reckless driving and speed. The vehicle began to flee. The vehicle continued in and out of traffic lanes at higher rate of speed than what was posted. The vehicle hit several curbs and ran through a red light.

Brownwood Police Department arrived to assist in the pursuit as the vehicle continued to travel in a reckless manner. The vehicle eventually pulled into a driveway in the 1500 block of Avenue A in Brownwood. The female driver was removed from the vehicle and taken into custody. Officers searched the vehicle and located marijuana, an assortment of prescription pills as well as a loaded syringe that was sent to the lab.

Sunsearah Marion White was arrested and taken to the Brown County Jail and charged with evading arrest with a vehicle, reckless driving, possession of marijuana, possession of dangerous drugs, disregarding a red light, improper right turn, driving on the wrong side of the road and driving while license suspended.
