Brownwood Police Report – March 20, 2019

The following are offense/incident reports released by the Brownwood Police Department on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

On 2/28/2019 Brownwood Police responded to the 100 Block of Ivanhoe Lane in reference to a residential burglary. A report was generated and an investigation is ongoing.

On 3/18/2019 Brownwood Police responded to a south side residence in reference to a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was taken and an investigation is pending.

On Monday, March 18, 2019 Officers of the Brownwood Police Department responded to a walk-in at 1050 West Commerce, in reference to a follow up, in regards to a Theft. While investigating the report of theft, an officer spoke with two individuals. A report was generated and completed.

On 3/18/2019, at approximately 2100 hours, Brownwood Police Officers made a traffic stop in the 2800 Block of Southside Drive for a traffic violation. Upon speaking to the driver, Police could smell Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, Police found a usable amount of Marijuana. Two suspects were arrested for possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone.

On 3/18/2019 Brownwood Police took a report of a domestic disturbance which occurred several days prior to the incident being reported.

On 3/19/2019 Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop which resulted in the arrest of a known male for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 <1g.
