This is the Brownwood Police Department Offense and Incident Report released on Monday, March 25, 2019 on calls made March 23-24.

On March 22, 2019 at approximately 1203 hours, Officeres were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1800 Block of Avenue B. During this call, a male subject was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On March 22, 2019 at approximately 1800 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were called to the 400 Block of West Commerce for a theft call. Loss prevention had a suspect detained for theft.
This suspect was arrested for theft.

on Friday, March 22, 2019 at approximately 2228 hours, Officers of the Brownwood Police Department were dispatched to the south side of Brownwood for a report of Criminal Mischief. During my
investigation, I found that a suspect had caused damage to a vehicle parked in the driveway of the residence. An investigation was completed and a report was generated.

On Friday, March 22, 2019, Officers of the Brownwood Police Department were dispatched to a north side residence for Theft.   An investigation was completed and a report was generated.

On Saturday, March 23, 2019 at approximately 0233 hours, Officers of the Brownwood Police Department were dispatched to the South side of Brownwood for a report of Disorderly Conduct.
Several officers were at a residence looking for a male subject. When the subject saw one of the officers, he fled on foot. I located the subject and placed him under arrest for Stalking and
Evading Arrest on foot. An investigation was completed and a report was generated.

On Friday, March 15, 2019 S. Lopez was dispatched to the 1100 Block of Santa Clara Drive in reference to an aggressive dog running loose. The complainant advised the dog had broken its chain and was chasing people. One citation issued.

On March 23, 2019 at approximately 0950 hours, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department responded to the 1400 Block of Coggin Avenue in reference to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.

On Saturday, March 23, 2019 at approximately 1100 hours, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department responded to the 1300 Block of Avenue J in reference to Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. A report was generated for this incident.

On March 23, 2019, met with complainant at LEC in regards to photos posted of her on Snapchat by ex-boyfriend.

On March 23, 2019 at approximately 1525 hours Officers with the Brownwood Police Department responded to the 900 Block of Avenue D in reference to a disturbance. A report was generated for
this incident.

On Saturday, March 23, 2019 at approximately 2100 hours, Officers of the Brownwood Police Department were patrolling on the south side of Brownwood. I observed a vehicle to be
traveling at a high rate of speed. During my investigation I located several drug paraphernalia items and a small Ziploc bag.  The driver was placed under arrest and charged for Possession of a Controlled Substance less than 1 gram in a drug free zone. A report was generated and completed.

On Sunday, March 24, 2019, at approximately 0011 hours, while patrolling in a South Brownwood residential area, I observed a silver four door vehicle pull up to a residence that I am familiar with and turn its lights off as I passed. I found this to be suspicious in nature because I did not recognize the
vehicle at this residence in the past and due to the amount of  vehicle burglaries that have been reported lately. I drove around the block and observed the vehicle turn its lights on and leave the residence. I got in behind the vehicle to perform a vehicle registration check. The vehicle immediately pulled into
a driveway with the driver exiting very quickly. I turned around to make contact and observed the occupant run into the back yard of the residence where he stopped. It was later discovered that the male subject was in possession of drug paraphernalia. A citation was issued to the male subject for
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Sunday, March 24, 2019 at approximately 1258 hours, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department responded to the 900 Block of Crothers Street in reference to a Violation of Protective
Order. A report was generated for this incident.

On Sunday, March 24, 2019 at approximately 2000 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to the 900 Block of Norwood for a theft call. Police made contact with Complainant and a report
was made for theft.

On Sunday, March 24, 2019 at approximately 2140 hours, Officers of the Brownwood Police Department were dispatched to a South Brownwood address for an unwanted person. During my
investigation, I found that one of the individuals had an active protective order against the unwanted person. An investigation was completed and a report was generated for a violation of a protective order and stalking.
