The following calls were made by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department and released to the media on March 29, 2019.

On March 28, 2019, at 09:36 hrs, Deputy Jayson Bastardo, was dispatched to Lakeshore Dr. This was in regards to an animal bite. Upon arrival, the officer met with a lady who said her father had been bitten by a dog. A report was made.

On 3/28/19, at approximately 1337 hours, Deputy Hopson responded to East U.S. 377. This was for an assault report. The Deputy contacted the victim, who advised a known suspect assaulted him. The incident is still being investigated.

On 03/28/2019, Deputy Mason Fabbiani performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Bangs Elementary Parking lot. During the stop, Deputy Fabbiani noticed a faint smell of alcohol coming from the male driver. After an investigation, it was determined he was intoxicated, he was placed in custody and taken to the Brown County Jail.
